From a single studio in Milan's golden fashion district, Cavezzana has grown into a globally respected house — without ever compromising on the values its founder instilled.
In 1992, Giulia Cavezzana left her position as head draper at a storied Milanese house to open her own atelier on Via della Spiga. Her philosophy was radical for its time: every garment should be constructed as if the client would wear it for thirty years.
That philosophy of enduring quality — over trend, over volume, over commercial convenience — became the backbone of everything Cavezzana produces. It attracted an immediate following among Italy's most discerning clientele.
Today, her son Marco and his design team continue her vision, presenting twice-yearly collections in Milan and Paris while maintaining the intimate client relationships that have always defined the house.
Every piece passes through at least fourteen pairs of hands before it reaches our clients. Our master artisans train for a minimum of seven years before working on a Cavezzana garment.
We source exclusively from certified Italian mills and tanneries that meet our strict environmental and labour standards. Luxury should never come at the expense of the planet or its people.
We do not design for seasons. We design for decades. Each Cavezzana collection is conceived to transcend trend and become a permanent part of our clients' wardrobes and lives.
We limit our bespoke client intake to 120 new clients per year globally. This is not exclusivity for its own sake — it is the only way to deliver the attention each client deserves.
All design, cutting, and primary construction takes place in Milan. We believe the city, its light, its culture, and its artisanal tradition are inseparable from what makes Cavezzana what it is.
